I recently rented the movie “Eragon.” The movie had gotten some pretty poor reviews, but I liked it. Eragon isn’t Lord of the Rings, but it has very good effects and moves along at a good pace. Anyway, I liked it enough to give add it to my movie wallpapers.

i agree that movie really shows how strong the bonds between dragon and human can be even though in the ancient tales the dragons managed to get closer bound to elves and magic beings, humans also proved worthy to ride a dragon as another ancient story tells.

hi i read the novel that’s so much interesting. The best character according to me is safira i can’t imagine that this novel can ever be convertd into the movie but it has. I am waiting for the third part and the name should be errand.Christoperr dude you done a great job

I watched the movie with my son and was suprised at how good it was.
Usually movies nowadays are barely worth watching once nevermind twice, but I can see us watching this one again for sure.

i read the book and it was great the movie didnt come out as good as the book but no movies do i just cant wait for the 3rd one to come out

the book was WAY better. the movie didnt cover HALF the real stuff in the books. and arya looked totally human.

The books were superb. (Eragon and Eldest) I can hardly wait for Brisingr due out in September) Christopher Paolini is an impressive, talented writer.
The director and Fox did not do these magnificent books justice.
While the movie was good, Actors fantastic – brilliant. Sapphira magnificent too, too much of the book was left out, and it will be difficult to make a sequel due to what the director and Fox did. In fact they even let down the actors.
Books are adventures that touch our hearts, mind, and soul. Whereas movies are a feast for our eyes and an enhancement of the joy we have experienced in reading. Too many directors and movie makers take out the magic of what is, the essence of the adventure, and what the reader gets is a cobbling of scenes – while good with wonderful actors, it is a let down because it is missing so much
