(Eragon and Eldest) I can hardly wait for Brisingr due out in September) Christopher Paolini is an impressive, talented writer. The director and Fox did not do these magnificent books justice. While the movie was good, Actors fantastic - brilliant. Sapphira magnificent too, too much of the book was left out, and it will be difficult to make a sequel due to what the director and Fox did. In fact they even let down the actors. Books are adventures that touch our hearts, mind, and soul. Whereas movies are a feast for our eyes and an enhancement of the joy we have experienced in reading. Too many directors and movie makers take out the magic of what is, the essence of the adventure, and what the reader gets is a cobbling of scenes - while good with wonderful actors, it is a let down because it is missing so much The books were superb.
